Special Education Teacher
Patricia Mella is a dedicated educator, Center Coordinator, and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a passion for building inclusive, supportive learning environments where every child can thrive. With extensive experience training RBTs and guiding behavior analysis programs, Patricia brings both clinical expertise and heartfelt care to special education.
She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Severe Special Needs Education to further elevate standard practices in multi-sensory and individualized instruction. As a mother and passionate advocate for accessible learning, Patricia looks forward to serving as the Principal of Wildflowers Academy—leading a community dedicated to empowering students, supporting families, and fostering lifelong growth.
Arlette Perez is a dedicated Special Education Teacher (K-8th) at Wildflower Academy. With six years of teaching experience serving students with special needs from Kindergarten through 12th grade, Arlette brings a wealth of expertise in behavioral analysis, personalized instruction, classroom management, and inclusive educational practices to our school community.
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Arlette possesses extensive expertise in working with children and adults with autism across a variety of age groups. Her professional background is broad and impactful, spanning roles as a Program Director and Co-Teacher at the South Florida Autism Charter School and South Florida Autism Center, as well as experience in behavioral health services. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to empowering students with diverse learning needs by fostering academic growth, independence, and meaningful social development in supportive, individualized learning environments.
